With the full-scale advancement of intelligent manufacturing, the traditional valve industry has completely moved away from its extensive manufacturing model, and intelligent and digital technologies have become the core drivers of industrial upgrading. By 2026, supported by the Industrial Internet, 5G, and digital twin technologies, smart valves will be widely adopted in key sectors such as petrochemicals, power generation, and municipal water supply, addressing industry pain points such as manual operation and lagging control and management in traditional valves.
Smart valves integrate sensors, data acquisition modules, and remote control systems to monitor key parameters—such as medium pressure, temperature, and flow rate—in real time, enabling functions like automatic adjustment, fault early warning, and remote start/stop. Compared to traditional products, smart valves significantly reduce manual operation and maintenance costs, effectively mitigate safety risks caused by human error, and enhance the stability and precision of fluid control systems.
Currently, leading domestic valve manufacturers are continuously increasing their investment in smart technology R&D, launching high-end products such as ultra-high-pressure smart safety valves and IoT-controlled valves to meet the demands of high-risk, high-precision industrial operating conditions. In the future, the valve industry will continue to deepen the integration of digital and intelligent technologies, driving quality improvements and efficiency gains in the industrial fluid control sector through the iteration of smart products, and accelerating the industry’s transition from mass production to high-end intelligent manufacturing.
